Decent value, quick delivery

I used the Contract Negotiation Tool for an upcoming vendor deal. The platform provided some useful insights and suggested clauses, which was a definite plus. The delivery of the analysis was prompt, and the interface was mostly intuitive. However, I did find that the 'Smart Search' feature sometimes struggled with very specific legal jargon, requiring me to refine my queries a few times. Customer service was responsive to my initial setup question, but I didn't test them beyond that. For the price, it's a good tool that brings efficiency, but it's not flawless in every aspect.

Good product, some quirks

I ordered the AI Contract Review service for a batch of vendor agreements and it was a mixed bag. The setup process was pretty straightforward, I uploaded the documents and the AI went to work. It flagged most of the clauses I was concerned about, which saved me a bunch of time. Delivery of the reviewed contracts was quick, within an hour or so, which was great for a tight deadline. I had a question about a specific risk assessment point, and customer support got back to me the next day; they were helpful enough. The main thing was, it identified a few 'risks' that weren't really risks in our context, so it needed some human oversight still. Overall, it's a solid tool, but don't expect it to replace your legal team entirely.

Good for initial savings

As a first-time buyer, I was looking for the most bang for my buck. I took advantage of the 14-day free trial for the AI Legal Assistant and ended up converting to an annual plan for the 20% discount. It felt like a good deal. The assistant helped me parse some tricky legal documents. The value seemed solid, especially compared to hourly legal fees. It paid off.

Consistent performance for contracts

I've used Legitt for a few different things now, mostly the AI Contract Generator and the e-Signature feature. This time around, I generated a sales contract and it was just as reliable as my previous orders. The templates are always current, and the e-signature process is smooth across devices. I keep coming back because it just works, no surprises. It's nice to have a platform I can count on for quick document turnaround without having to re-learn a new system every time.

Any deals for startups? We're a small team and every dollar counts, wondering if they have a special program or discount codes for early-stage companies.

J June 2 months ago
Yep, they definitely have startup discounts. I know someone who got 50% off for being an early-stage startup. Worth reaching out to them.

I remember seeing something about founder credits too. And if you go with annual billing, that's usually 20% cheaper than monthly, so that's another way to save.

Is Legitt actually legit? Like, AI for contracts sounds cool but can it really handle complex legal stuff without making huge mistakes?

N Neil 2 months ago
I was skeptical too but it's SOC2 certified, which means they've got some serious security and compliance stuff going on. That made me feel better about putting sensitive docs in there.

It's not going to replace your lawyer, obviously. But for a first pass at a draft or flagging issues, it's surprisingly good. Catches a lot of things I'd miss. Think of it as a super-smart assistant.

Heard about a 14-day free trial. Is that for the full suite of features or is it a limited version? Trying to see if it's worth investing time in.

B Brett Kim 2 months ago
Yeah, the 14-day trial is pretty much full-featured from what I experienced. Lets you kick the tires properly.

I think it's the real deal for the trial. They want you to see what it can do before you commit. I used it to draft a few NDAs and it worked great.

hey, was wondering if anyone knows how the pricing works? like, is it just one flat fee or do they have different tiers based on usage or features?

S Shane 2 months ago
From what I saw on their site, they have a freemium model. You can start for free, and then I guess pay for more features or users. Like most SAAS stuff.

Yeah, I think there are definitely different plans. I got a demo for the enterprise one, and that's obviously customized. But for smaller teams, there's a pro plan too, not sure exactly what that includes though.

Thinking about trying Legitt but curious how it stacks up against something like PandaDoc or DocuSign CLM for actual contract management, not just e-signatures. Anyone use both?

R Raj Patel 1 month ago
I've used Docusign for signing forever but Legitt is way more focused on the AI review and drafting part. Like, it's a completely different beast for the CLM aspect, much more robust I think.

PandaDoc is good for document generation, but Legitt feels more 'legal' focused. The AI review capabilities are pretty strong, way beyond what I got from PandaDoc's basic templates. It's more about the actual legal content.
